Understanding customer loyalty in the cinema industry is crucial for long-term success. Since the pandemic we have a growing customer programme and a digital app that helps us see how the customers engage with our theaters. We can therefore segment our customers into different groups and find a unique approach to each of those groups and engage them.

I work for Cineplex, the biggest Movie theater chain in Germany as Digital Director, developing strategies and services to better compete with streaming portals and other movie chains. A part of my job at Cineplex is to consult the movie platform deinkinoticket.de, we established in 2016 together with other exhibitors, studios and distributors.
